An expert designer and teacher, coming to Bishop Estate!

We are all super excited to enjoy one of many Wine, Friends, and Fun (WFF) nights here at Bishop Estate! Learn Florology which is the Language of Flowers, taught by Melissa Palmer,
while you creating a lovely Valentine’s Bouquet and sip wine some of our delicious wines at Bishop Estate!
Melissa Palmer, of Florum Flowers, teaches fun tips and tricks for your future arrangements! During our Wine, Friends, and Fun night, each student will receive a pamphlet on the language of flowers and a small box of chocolates, compliments of Melissa. You will take home a beautiful
arrangement just in time for Valentines Day that you made yourself! You will receive all the things you need, flowers, container and then get professional guidance with Melissa, so everyone will take home something gorgeous!
Just a note about Melissa Palmer, whom we met while she was doing geriatric sheep therapy at the Bishop Estate Property! She is witty and fun and she has trained for floral design under Gregor Lersch in Germany and attended the Borerma Institute in the Netherlands in Dutch Master Design. She is an instructor at Longwood Gardens teaching Floral Fun Classes and she owns her own businesses, Florum Flowers and Petaling Posies, and grows flowers on her New Jersey farm.
She is a frequent lecturer/speaker for PHS and also the Philadelphia Flower Show and she is a Master Beekeeper and Mason Bee Specialist- and teaches the importance of beneficial insects and their habitats to teachers and school students.
So many accomplishments, Melissa also works locally for Byers Choice lecturing and organizing events and you will get her knowledge and expertise all to yourself while you are designing your arrangement. Nothing short of a very coveted class, it is time to sip and design with the best, we recommend trying the Overworked Dry Riesling, but come early and sample a few wines to find a wine you will love!
