This summer has been HOT! So, lets cool off this next Food Truck Feature with Uncle Bob’s Desserts! Uncle Bob’s Desserts food truck will be at the winery on Friday this week! They’re serving up scrumptious crepes and delicious ice cream to kick that sweet tooth craving, and we’re helping you pair it with a couple of our unique wines.
First Pairing:

Our first pairing involves a decadent partnership of two ingredients that must have been brought together by a culinary match maker because they are per-fec-tion. Strawberries and chocolate. Does it get better than that?! Well, we’re glad to tell you, IT DOES. Uncle Bob’s is rolling these two ingredients – juicy strawberries and luscious Nutella – into a fluffy crepe and topping it with a cloud of whipped cream. And we’re providing the wine to take this sweet meal over the top. Grab a glass of our Pure Strawberry Wine, and enjoy the way it makes the strawberries in the crepe just POP. With the Nutella in the crepe, this is a chocolate covered strawberry flavor explosion for the entirety of this dessert experience.

Our next pairing involves a crepe filled with a blend of apples, strawberries, peaches, and kiwi. If you’re looking for a fruity dessert, this is it! The fruit is covered with a blanket of creme fraiche, folded into the crepe, and topped with whipped cream. We recommend pairing this delicious, fruit salsa crepe with our Persuader La Crescent. This crisp sweet wine contains notes of a juicy peach picked right from the tree. Not only will it bring out those juicy fruit flavors in the crepe, it will also balance out the tangy creme fraiche beautifully.
